![]() It is really disappointing when big networks are all about making money instead of providing a decent service. Hulu, HBOmax and Netflix, do NOT have these issues. Now, I'm going to finish the current shows and cancel again. When I cancelled the Paramount plus the first time, they charged me twice in the same month for an app that was cancelled a month earlier! Thankfully, since the purchase went through Amazon, they were able to rectify the charges. It still buffers and interestingly enough, the ads don't buffer! I have tried to contact customer service, long wait times, and am disconnected. So, I cancelled Paramount plus, gave it a few months and tried again, this time with limited commercials. That continued to buffer as well! There are a few shows that I want to watch, where current seasons and episodes aren't available on other apps. ![]() Only app I have bought that totally sucks! Canceled that subscription, then tried Paramount plus/commercial free. I bought the app through Amazon prime/firestick.įirst, it was CBS all access, horrible buffering tried it on Samsung smart tv and Vizio, no difference. Thanks for reading my venting out, I'm majorly disappointed. Champions League soccer has highest revenue of any tournament in the world and we have to hillbilly rig up a system to watch it in 2021, damn that's sad. Paramount is TERRIBLE, worst service I've EVER had. Now I'll have to rig up some bullshit like using my laptop to chromecast to my monitor. Yeah, I uninstalled my ad blockers and it still won't stream a single thing.and I pay the $10 bucks a month. Freakin terrible, I thought CBS All Access was below average, Paramount Plus just has spinning arrow circle and won't show any content.but you can browse their large pile of garbage thumbnail show cover art. Have to jump through flaming hoops just to try to watch the Champions League. CBS/Paramount/(enter next years name) is pure garbage, what a joke. Works on my laptop and pixel phone but DOES NOT on my work on my windows 7 PC with up to date browsers (chrome, firefox). It’s a much better experience, and I didn’t know about it until recently.īought Paramount Plus for Champions League Soccer. So, if you’re subscribed to Amazon prime, and are looking to avoid the terrible paramount plus app, that’s another option. For anyone who doesn’t know, you can subscribe to paramount plus through Amazon prime, and watch all paramount plus content through the Amazon prime app. I figured they would have put some effort into their big relaunch and come out with something that was actually functional.Įdit: I’m still getting comments on this post well over a year later, so I thought I’d add a small update. The CBS All Access app was a bit clunky and barebones, but it’s honestly shocking how much worse this is. The only way to clear this message is to exit out of the episode and restart. while the episode continues to play in the background. Sometimes a message will appear in the middle of the screen saying that the episode cannot be played. Sometimes the advertisement countdown timer will appear in the top corner of the screen in the middle of the episode. This will never stop, and requires you to close the app and restart the episode to fix. If an episode ever needs to buffer, it will start stuttering and skipping around. Any ads that play during an episode will be audio only, on a black screen.Īny attempt to pause, fast forward, or rewind causes an error, forcing you to restart the episode from the beginning. At the beginning of the episode, the first few seconds of an ad will play, but then the episode will start up, skipping the rest of the ad. Here’s a breakdown of the issues I’ve run into every time I’ve used the app on PS4. I’m pretty surprised I haven’t read more about how terrible it is, but maybe that’s just because so few people are subscribed. ![]() R/television's favorite shows of all time (2022 edition) >!Spoiler!!Television!< becomes Television Links ![]()
